DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Engineering is handled by the office of the City Engineer who is responsible for all matters relating to public and private construction within the City as it relates to sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, streets, drainage and grading, including any private construction within public rights-of-way or on public property. It includes such things as preparing plans for and administrating public improvement projects and the review, approval, and observation of private construction relating to site improvements.
